Early Reflections
People who have spent time with early versions of LYEONS Heart have shared reflections such as:
“After a few minutes, I could actually feel myself relaxing, like my breathing slowed.”
“I love the gentle thumping against my ear. Eyes closed and breathe… still very busy mind but feel a lot better.”
“It took me right to the moment when I first heard the ultrasound of my child”
“I like to use it to fall asleep. It sounds like my mummy’s heartbeat”
These reflections continue to shape how we refine the rhythms and the overall experience of the device.
Built by a Small Team
LYEONS is a team of engineers, designers and neuroscientists who first met while working on neurotechnology projects supporting people with Parkinson’s disease.
Many members of the team studied at Imperial College London, while others joined through programmes connected to the University of Cambridge, Cambridge Neuroworks and the Royal College of Art.
What connects us most is not only our technical backgrounds, but also our shared belief that wellbeing technology should feel comforting, intuitive and human-centred. Many of us have supported friends or family through periods of stress or overwhelm, and those experiences have deeply shaped how we design.
Each LYEONS Heart in this early batch is assembled individually by the founding team. The housings are 3D-printed in-house, which means you may notice small natural variations in texture or finish. These variations do not affect how the device works and are simply part of the character of these early editions.
We continue to refine the design, light direction and overall feel as we move toward larger-scale production. The experiences and feedback shared by our early community play an important role in shaping those improvements.
The devices are available in calming, nature-inspired colours: Pebble and Olive.
Please Note
LYEONS Heart is designed as a wellness product to support relaxation and grounding. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition and should not replace professional medical advice or treatment.
